Harold Long, 47, Bradley Resident, Dies In Hospital

Funeral services for Harold Long, 47, 690 Jonette Ave., Bradley, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Rehr-kaiser Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. paul Lutheran Church.

Mr. Long died suddenly at 12:15 p.m. Friday at Riverside Hospital.

He lived in Bradley for the past 10 years and was employed as a heavy equipment operator. he was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Bradley Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6502.

He was born July 29, 1922 in Edgewood. He was married March 25, 1943 in St. Charles, MO to Maxine Meents, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Michael, at home; daughters, Mrs. Joyce Hupel and Mrs. Pamela Burnett, both of Kankakee and Mrs. Judy Fontaine of Clifton; brothers, Orville of Decatur, Arthur of Bourbonnais and George and Dale, both of Momence; a sister, Miss Waunetta Long of Manteno; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today. the Rev. Herbert Bohlmann will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
