GEORGE C. BARLOW, farmer and stockraiser, P. O. Sailor Springs. This enterprising young man is a native of Crawford County, Ill., and was born November 8, 1850. His father, William Barlow (deceased), was also born in Crawford County, November 28, 1821, and died there October 12, 1867. Mr. Barlow was brought up on his father's farm, and received a common school education in his native county. He came to Clay County in December, 1880, and settled on his present beautiful farm of 160 acres on Section 12. He was married, March, 24, 1874, to Miss Ursula Eaton, daughter of James H. Eaton, of Crawford County, Ill. She was also born in Crawford County, and was a schoolmate of her husband in childhood.
