Submitter's Notes 14 Jun 2018 - George was not born in England rather Edwards County IL at the home of his grandfather James. His parents were Isaac Pearson and Jane Wolfington of Orange County IN where his brothers Elias and Cyrus D was born along with sisters Mary married Moren and Elizabeth married Standfield all in Orange County IN. Found in Gibson County IN in the 1850 census. George Pearson did marry Ms. Wilmington first. They divorced in Gibson Co IN. He then moved with his sister Mary Moren abt 1853 to Marion County as well as his brother Cyrus D Pearson and other brother/cousin Isaac Pearson. Cyrus and Isaac we’re both brickmakers. Of course George married Nancy King in 1856 in Clay Co. and moved to there. 1860 census shows brother and niece Nancy J Marine. Spelled wrong of course. Have lots more info on the group.
