E. Bullard, 87, Iuka, formerly of Rinard, died at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesday at
Doctor's Nursing Home in Salem.
Funeral services for Mr. Bullard will
be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne with burial
in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday (tonight)
at the funeral home.
Mr. Bullard was born on Oct. 25, 1893, in Wayne
County to Lawrence and Emma (Withrow) Bullard. He first married Mabel
Ostrander on Nov. 27, 1915, in Effingham. She preceded him in death in 1957.
He married Mable Brubaker on Aug. 6, 1965. She survives.
Mr. Bullard
was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife: three daughters, Mrs.
Bernice (Ruth) Howe of Rinard, Mrs. Leonard (June) Greenwood of Effingham an
Mrs. Shirley Dowdy of Lansing; four sons, Glen and Darrell, both of
Effingham, Ardell of Grand Junction, Colo., and Victor of Griffith, Ind.;
two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Bunnell of Cisne and Mrs. Herchel (Irene) Leach of
Belleville; one brother, Ed Bullard of Rinard; 27 grandchildren; and 16
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his
first wife; one infant daughter; two sons, Larry and Donald; three brothers,
and one sister.
