Mrs. Oscar Earhart, 71 years of
age, passed away Monday the 27th at 9 a.m. after several weeks illness. Mrs
Earhart suffered 3 strokes of paralysis, heart trouble and complications.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Flora Christian
church, with Rev. Doty in charge and burial at the Elmwood Cemetery in
Flora. Mrs. Earhart was preceded in death by one son John. Near relatives
who survive are the husband; children: Edgar of Connersville Indiana; Mrs.
Bertha Payne of West Clay City; Oga of La Salle; Mrs. Laura Brown, of
Arthur; and Mrs. Emma Brown, of Pasadena, Calif.
Note: Her maiden name was Mary Ann Taylor.
