Funeral services for Oscar
Earhart, a former resident of the Bethlehem neighborhood, who died Friday at
Lovington, were held from the Christian Church here at 2 o'clock yesterday
afternoon. The Rev. C.L. Doty, pastor of the Christian church, conducted the
services, where were followed by internment in Elmwood cemetary. Since the
death of his wife less than two [years ago], Mr. Earhart, who was well known
in Clay County, has made his home in the northern part of the state.
