Father, son die in 4 days

Frank QUERTERMOUS, 76 of 810 St. Clair Ave., died of cancer at 11:20 am Sunday in St. Mary's Hospital. A son Charles Scott QUERTERMOUS, 42, a former resident here, died Thursday in Honolulu, Hawaii, Another son Lt. Harold QUERTERMOUS was killed in a plane crash in World War II. Funeral services for Frank QUERTERMOUS are scheduled to be held Wednesday in Clay City, Ill. Burial with be there. Kassly has charge here. Mr. QUERTERMUS will remain here until 11 a.m. Wed. Funeral services for the son are scheduled for 2:30p.m. Wednesday in Flora.
Burial will be with his father and brother in Clay City cemetery.

Mr. QUERTERMOUS was born in Clay City, and had lived here 50 years. he was a retired furniture salesman and had been retired 12 years.

A nephew Clark QUERTERMUS operates Midway Tavern. A niece Mrs. Ellen HOSKINS operates The Corner Tavern. Another niece Mrs. Louise STEWART is the wife of Walter STEWART, operator of the Stewart Supply Co. They are the only survivors.
