Doris E. SCHAAL, 62,
of St. Peter, Illinois, died at 10:35 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 1999 in
her home. Mrs. SCHAAL was a homemaker. She was also formerly employed by the
Brown Produce in Farina. She was affiliated with the St. Peter Lutheran
Church, St. Peter, Illinois.
Survivors include her husband, Merle of
St. Peter; three daughters, Mrs. Argus (Cheryl) HOLLOWELL of Farina; Mrs.
Michael (Dena) GREENWOOD of Farina and Mrs. Randy (Christine) HALTERMAN of
St. Peter; step brother, Ted of Olympic, WA; stepsisters, Mrs. Bill (Vera)
MILLER of Arthur, IL and Mrs. Darrell (Eva) BRISCOE of Greenup, IL;
stepsister-in-law, Evelyn JEANS of Toledo, IL; six grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister,
Rosalee and one stepbrother.
Funeral services were held Sunday,
February 7, 1999 in the St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter, with burial in
the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery, St. Peter. Hotz-Pagel Funeral Home was in
charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of
Lincolnland (Home Nursing Association); St. Peter area cancer support group
or the St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Peter.
