Laura C. WILLIS, 87,
Flora, Illinois passed away Sunday, February 17, 1991, 8:05 p.m. at Clay
County Hospital, Flora.
She was born November 14, 1903 to James
REDFORD and Leona Mae (SUTTON) COATNEY in Clay County, Illinois. She married
Roy WILLIS December 5, 1923. He preceded her in death November 14, 1972.
She leaves three daughters, Hazel BRANHAM, Flora, Betty SHURTZ, Orange
Park, FL, and Lois TIMMONS, Spring Grove, IL; a brother, Kenneth COATNEY of
Crystal River, FL; a sister, Edith WELKER, Effingham; six grandchildren; 15
great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded
in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, and four sisters.
Services for Mrs. WILLIS were held Wednesday at Neal Funeral Home,
Louisville, with burial in Red Brush Cemetery.
