Sarah
WOODS, Louisville, Dies of Burns.
Sarah WOODS, 87, of Louisville,
died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at Clay County hospital, where she was taken after
being burned in a home blaze Wednesday. Born Oct. 2, 1882, in Cumberland
County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Francis RAY COTTINGHAM. Her
husband Louis preceded her in death in 1946. Surviving are children, Mrs.
Raymond (Floris) TAYLOR; step-children, Willis, Indianapolis, Ind; Lizzie
VAN WINKLE of Robinson; Mrs. Milo (Hazel) FLYNN of Newton and Arthur of
Willow Hill and 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two
great-great grandchildren; one sister Elsie SMITH of Matoon. The body is at
Neal Funeral Home, Arrangements are incomplete.
